A Spring Castle Wedding at Killeavy Castle

Spring Castle Wedding

Recently, I had the absolute delight of capturing the magic of a beautiful, laid-back wedding at Killeavy Castle near Newry, Ireland.

Wedding Highlights

On a scorching summer day, amidst the picturesque beauty of Killeavy Castle, Harriet and Val exchanged vows, surrounded by friends and family. As a photographer, I had the privilege of documenting every moment of this stunning outdoor ceremony.Killeavy Castle, located near Newry, is one of my favourite wedding venues and offers the perfect combination of beautiful outdoor space and picturesque vintage interiors. I have a couple more weddings coming up here, and can't wait to go back. If you're planning a wedding and looking for a photographer then please get in touch!

Wedding FAQs

What are your photography packages and prices?

Please contact me using the form provided here for a copy of my latest brochure. This provides all the details on my latest packages and prices. A 4-hour micro-wedding option is also available for smaller mid-week weddings. All my photography packages are customisable so don’t worry if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for straight away.

How long until I get my pictures after my wedding?

I aim to share all images within 8 weeks of the wedding. I also share a 'sneak peek' of a select few images within 48 hours of your wedding (not included with the 4-hour micro-wedding package). A sneak peek is usually between 5 and 15 images, that capture the vibe of your wedding day for you to share on social media as you wish.

Are you a full-time wedding photographer?

Yes, I am lucky enough to be a full-time wedding photographer.

How will I receive my images?

All images are shared via an online gallery where you have full access to all your wedding photographs (I don't charge for downloads). You can share the link to the gallery with as many people as you wish. Everyone with the link will be able to download the images watermark-free or order prints if they wish.

Do we meet beforehand?

Yes, I catch up with all my couples before their wedding date, either via video conference or in-person for a coffee. I also organise a catch-up meeting a couple of weeks before your wedding for us to discuss the final details of your day. In this meeting, we cover things such as the final itinerary, family photography combinations, and final questions to ensure we are 100% aligned before your big day.

Can you cover both bridal and groom prep?

Yes - providing the bride and groom are getting ready close together (within 30 mins of each other), I’ll be able to capture both without the need of a second shooter.

Are albums included?

No all of my packages are digital only - however you can add on an Album if you wish. For full info on pricing, you can request a copy of my brochure here.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Do you offer video packages?

Yes, I offer hybrid video coverage. This includes a 3-5 minute highlight video of your wedding day edited to music plus full audio recordings of the speeches. Please specify that you’re interested in video as well as photography when you get in contact. This package is designed for couples who want a bit of video from their day but don't want to hire a separate videographer.

How do I secure my date?

To secure your wedding date you'll need to sign an online contract and pay a deposit of €400. The remaining balance is not due until a week before your wedding.

What cameras do you use?

Currently I use two of Nikon's latest Mirrorless camera bodies, enabling me to capture beautiful high-resolution images of your wedding day. The cameras automatically back up all my images to ensure your pictures are safe. I also bring spare cameras to ensure I’m covered in the unlikely event one of my main cameras breaks (It’s better to be safe than sorry)!

Question not answered?
